Gen Hoshino

Gen Hoshino is a musician, actor, and writer. In 2016, his single “Koi” became a massive hit alongside the drama series “The Full-Time Wife Escapist,” in which he starred, growing into a nationwide cultural phenomenon. In 2025, he released his sixth album, “Gen,” which received widespread acclaim both in Japan and internationally.

As an actor, his recent works include the drama series “MIU404,” the television drama “Slow Train,” as well as the films “The Voice of Sin” and “Last Mile.” He is also the author of several essay collections, including “Soshite Seikatsu wa Tsuzuku,” “Yomigaeru Hentai,” and “See the World by the Window of Life.”
